Summary

Providing quality food service experience for patrons at the swimming pool, while keeping a clean facility and following safety rules and regulations. To conduct yourself as a professional at all times towards patrons and superiors.

Essential Functions

• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing a quality food service experience to all guests.
• Proper handling of food and cooking equipment.
• Moderate to light cooking by meeting quality and safety standards.
• Using proper cleaning procedures for kitchen tools, prep surfaces, and equipment.
• Follow the Township's policies, rules, and regulations of employment.
• Ensure dependability by arriving on time for your scheduled shift.
• Inputting orders in our POS and handling financial transactions.
• Communicate with Manager on duty regarding customer needs and inventory assessments.
• Assist with preparations for birthday parties.
• Preferred availability for duration of summer. (Labor Day is the last day open for Pool)

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time and intermittently.
• Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, push items overhead, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to talk, hear, and see.
• Occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs.

Competencies

• Thorough knowledge of basic math, addition, subtraction, etc.
• Knowledge of government food handling and sanitation regulations including National Restaurant Association ServSafe Certification
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures for equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of department policy, procedures, and work rules.

Skills

• Ability to perform moderate cooking

Abilities

• Ability to provide quality customer service consistently

• High school diploma or GED
• ServSafe Certified
