Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Payroll Assistant. You will be responsible for writing memos, developing job aids, training materials, and other internal communications related to payroll operations.

Job Description

• They will write memos, develop job aids, training materials and other communications.
• They must be strong communicators because lots of their job will be working with the other team leads in Payroll to document processes as well as communicating to the organization regarding payroll related matters.
• They will also be responsible for orientation activities for new employees.
• They must have a high attention to detail to catch errors (spelling, grammar, procedural etc.), have a high competency for organization and a high work ethic.
• They must be go-getters. Have a passion to see people grow and to improve processes (of which they must first learn).
• They should be strong in technical ability (AI, Microsoft office suite, training content development tools like Articulate and Adobe Captivate, use of brand guidelines).

Skills Required

• At least 1 to 3 years of Managament experience in a relevant role (education, retail, hospitality, HR, Healthcare, sales, marketing, customer service)
• Experience in methods and principles for designing proggrams to teach, train and instruct both groups and individuals, including the means of assessing the effects of training
• Experience in or knowledge of Human resource management
• Strong customer and personal service skills, including employee needs assessment, evaluation of satisfaction and ensuring quality standards of service High functioning technical ability
• Use of various content development software (i.e. Adobe Captivate and Articulate 360)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Advanced Knowledge of WebEx
• Working knowledge of other collaborative tools
• Excellent written and oral communications
• Independent thinker
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Project Management skills
• Onboarding Background
• Training/HR/Payroll and possibly a Graphic Design background.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree Required
• BA training, Human Resources, communications, Education or Graphic Design preferred

Additional Requirements

• Shift Time: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM with 1 hour lunch unpaid

Pay Rate

• $33.00 per hour
