Location: Canonsburg, PA (Greater Pittsburgh)
Schedule: On-call during winter storms — early mornings, nights, weekends
Reports To: Landscape Foreman & Production Manager
Position Overview
Growing Seasons Landscaping (GSL) is hiring Seasonal Snowplow Operators to clear snow and spread salt on commercial and residential properties. This role is ideal for dependable, safety-focused individuals comfortable working in winter weather.
Responsibilities
- Operate snowplow trucks and salting equipment
- Clear parking lots, drive lanes, and designated areas
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Respond quickly to snow/ice call-outs
- Follow all GSL safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
- Previous snowplow or equipment experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work long or irregular hours during storms
- Must pass drug screening
