As an Intake and Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our organization by serving as the initial point of contact for clients seeking our help in applying for Social Security Disability benefits. You will be responsible for gathering the client's relevant information and determining whether our office can provide assistance and will also be responsible for assisting the client in completing their disability application. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and empathy will ensure that clients receive the support they require. Ability to speak fluent Spanish, in addition to English, is a must.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct initial interviews with potential clients via phone and complete disability applications
Gather detailed information about their work history and current physical/mental conditions
Assess eligibility based on this information
Complete accurate intake paperwork
Guide clients through onboarding and paperwork completion
Provide excellent customer service throughout the intake process
