Data Operations Coordinator (Temporary Assignment)

Our client is seeking a Data Operations Coordinator for a temporary role supporting organizational data management and operational efficiency. This position plays a critical part in ensuring that data is accurate, reliable, and effectively utilized across departments. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Oversee the collection, processing, and distribution of data to maintain consistency and integrity across systems and departments.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct audits, reconciliations, and quality control reviews to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established standards.

• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data discrepancies while recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed reports and visual summaries from complex datasets to support strategic decision-making.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with IT, business analysts, and leadership teams to meet ongoing data and reporting needs.

• Process Compliance: Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist in maintaining and updating internal data policies.

• System Support: Participate in user acceptance testing for new systems, support database maintenance, and assist with technology upgrades.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with coursework or experience in data management, analytics, or information systems .

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, filters); familiarity with database management tools is an advantage.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Adaptable and proactive , capable of working both independently and within cross-functional teams.

• Previous experience in data operations, reporting, or administrative data management is strongly preferred.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
