Seeking a motivated Community Microlender to provide microloans, character-based loans to entrepreneurs and consumers through an affinity group lending model. This role blends loan origination, underwriting, client support, and technical assistance , helping small businesses and community members access capital and grow.

What You’ll Do:

· Originate, underwrite, and close microloans in a group setting

· Build relationships with clients, community partners, and referral networks

· Coordinate loan servicing, payments, and collections

· Track outcomes, document program impact, and support reporting requirements

· Promote additional lending products and provide technical assistance to clients

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a nonprofit or lending environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and cloud-based systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Independent, ethical, and committed to community impact

• Microfinance experience
• Bilingual Spanish/English

• Engage directly with entrepreneurs and community members
