To support our growth, FS-Curtis has an excellent opportunity for a Channel Partner Manager, Southeast Territory. The Channel Partner Manager will drive results through management of sales activities, business, and marketing programs as well as customer relationships throughout our Southeast U.S. distributor network, If you are a top performer who thrives in a busy workplace and is well versed in customer service, we would like to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate region’s goals.
- Establishes and implements sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Reviews market analyses to determine distributor/client needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Directs distributor training and performance evaluations to develop sales program and monitor effectiveness.
- Directs development activities and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Ensures new business is generated in specified amounts.
- Understands the business climate including industry type, growth rate, and competition in assigned territories.
- Generates sales plans as scheduled, in conjunction with Director of National Sales and Vice President.
- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed distributor/client base expansion.
- Reviews weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
- Meets with distributor/clients, maintains and nurtures existing client relationships, negotiates and closes deals.
- Oversees the negotiation of distributor/client contracts and work agreements.
- Oversees sales presentations to distributor/clients.
- Coordinates activity between sales department and other business units.
- Ensures that comprehensive work-site safety evaluations are completed timely and accurately.
- Meets production goals and controls expenditures of specified region to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Utilizes company CRM/reporting systems.
- Actively seeks out and participates in formal and informal training opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or three to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of how to create highly satisfied customer

- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to direct and recommend cost-effective creative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively

- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities
- Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable; able to work independently within team focused environment
- Technical aptitude with air compression and rotating equipment preferred
- Knowledge of industrial distribution models or multi step distribution preferred
- Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures
- Advocates a safety-first attitude in all aspects of position
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software; SAP experience preferred
