Job Description- Oversees the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the physical environment at an Independent Living & Personal Care areas of the Senior Care Community.
- Responsible for overseeing housekeeping, laundry services, and transportation services.
- Ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, and equipment are properly maintained, in compliance with regulatory standard.
- Ensures a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Develops and manages the facilities department budget, ensuring cost-effective practices in purchasing, staffing, and energy use.
- Liaise with and manage external contractors and service providers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-Time Position
- Monday through Friday
- Will participate in evening &/or weekend coverage rotation, as required.
- Pay: $55,000-62,000/annually
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Active Driver's License Required.
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ADA, fire codes).
- Proven experience in budget management and vendor/contractor relations.
