Personal Injury Paralegal
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join our client and support a busy litigation team by driving case progress, ensuring smooth file management, and delivering high-quality trial preparation. This role plays a key part in keeping matters on track—from early discovery through resolution—while serving as a steady point of contact for clients navigating complex personal injury cases. The Paralegal will also help strengthen team processes by contributing to internal training, onboarding, and workflow consistency. This is a direct-hire, hybrid opportunity based in Plymouth Meeting, PA (onsite full-time for the first 30 days, then hybrid 2 days/week WFH).
Compensation:
$80,000 – $100,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, flexible 8AM–4PM or 9AM–5PM
Key Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Paralegal:
- Oversee case activity from filing through settlement or trial, ensuring deadlines, court rules, and workflow milestones are consistently met.
- Prepare and organize litigation documents including pleadings, motions, discovery materials, subpoenas, and medical record summaries.
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and other critical events while maintaining accurate calendars and case timelines.
- Support trial preparation by assembling exhibits, witness packets, binders, and logistical materials for arbitration, mediation, and courtroom proceedings.
- Contribute to team development by assisting with training, onboarding new staff, and maintaining templates, checklists, and process standards.
Qualifications and Skills for the Personal Injury Paralegal:
- A degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience is highly valued.
- At least 3 years of paralegal experience, with a strong background in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
- Solid understanding of Pennsylvania litigation procedures; knowledge of New Jersey matters is a plus.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and experienced with legal case management systems—Litify proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, multitasking ability, and discretion in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
