Job Description: The Staff Accountant will provide full charge bookkeeping services, data entry and analysis, cash management and trial balance maintenance. Maintain and reconcile daily bank balances as well as general ledger account entries. This role requires a candidate that is self-motivated and can shift priorities quickly as needs change.

Responsibilities:

• • Maintain and reconcile daily bank balances and key general ledger accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Provide daily and weekly financial reporting.
  • Provide back-up support for all Accounting positions to include AR, AP and Payroll.
  • Reconcile monthly bank and loan statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of cash flow projections and company budget.
  • Provide support to the Controller for bi-annual compilation.
  • Participate in the current ERP conversion
  • P erforms other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Conditions inside the lab are generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
