FRESHMAN GIRLS VOLLEYBALL COACH
Seton LaSalle Catholic High School (Mt. Lebanon/City area of Pittsburgh) seeks qualified candidates for the Freshman Girls Volleyball position open immediately. The Ideal candidate should have knowledge of coaching techniques and WPIAL/PIAA rules and regulations. Must be able to develop fundamental skills, teach strategies and provide team building. Ideal candidates have prior high school/college coaching experience; strong communication skills; promote good sportsmanship and student development; a commitment to upholding the mission of our school in a manner that is consistent with our Catholic values.

Key responsibilities include:
- Training players
- Choosing team members
- Assist in organizing practice sessions
- Teaching, recommending and enforcing safe techniques
- Instruct students on healthy stretching, lifting and jumping
- Addressing behavioral and learning issues with parents appropriately
- Effectively communicating with a diverse group of athletes, coaches and game officials
- Supporting the Catholic mission of the school
Required experience and skills:
- Volleyball coaching or playing experience
- Coaching, teaching or training experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated

- Ability to provide constructive criticism
- Administrative skills
- Organizational skills
- Safety awareness
- Flexible work schedule
