Carpenter Laborer 1st Shift

We are seeking skilled Carpenter Laborers for a range of positions in areas such as framing, floor department, cabinet shop, drywall, and final finishing. The first shift typically runs from Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3 pm. Flexibility is required as there is no exact finish time; shifts may occasionally extend up to 10+ hours, although this is rare. Your primary task will include constructing and finishing various building components.

• Framing: Cut wood to length and use air nail guns to construct walls. Use jigs for efficient wall squaring and attach drywall to studded walls.
• Floor Department: Frame floors with joists, nail subfloors in place, and insulate flooring.
• Drywall: Cut and fit drywall around pipes and fixtures, screw drywall to panels, and finish with tape and paste.
• Cabinet Shop: Assemble and install cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms, cut and install countertops, and complete the installation process.
• Final Finishing: Finish built units, which may include hanging blinds, installing appliances, and cleaning.

• Previous construction experience, which could be personal or vocational.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with hand tools.

• Carpentry and construction experience is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to interview well.
• No certifications are required.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
