Locum Tenens Cardiology Noninvasive Job Williamsport, PA

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible cardiologist
- Primarily looking for hospital coverage and reading/imaging coverage such as stress testing, EKGs, monitors, echos, nuclear, cardiac mri, etc.
- Inpatient rounding, consults, reading images, TEEs, proctoring stress tests (occasionally), etc. Will have a PA-C with them in the AM to assist most days
- Shifts are 8am-5pm in hospital and 5pm to 8am Call
- Provider would start at 8a to cover the hospital service
- There will be an NP and PA also helping with coverage
- Would need to do consults, periop TEEs, cardioversions, follow up consults, and answer questions other providers would have
- Documentation of the consults and TEE/cardioversion would need to be done timely
- Clinic 8a-5p then 5p-8a off-site call
- May occasionally cover call and clinic during the day only, 8a-5p on Fridays
- You'd be on call for the entire weekend when you're working at the facility
- Typically doesn't require the doc to come in unless it's a stat TEE for a dissection. Rare for these but do occur from time to time
- Most calls can be managed over the phone and triaged from hotel
- Must stay within 30 min of the hospital. We have multiple hotels within 5 min radius of hospital
