Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $9 - $9 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Bell Ringer:

• Interact with the public: Greet people courteously, thank donors, and provide general information about The Salvation Army
• Operate the kettle: Ring a small handbell (where allowed) to attract attention to the donation kettle
• Maintain the kettle: Ensure the donation kettle is never left unattended during the shift
• Follow instructions: Abide by all policies, dress code, and safety protocols
• Lift and move equipment: Be able to lift filled kettles, tripods, and signs

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Physical ability: Ability to stand for long periods in a wide variety of outside weather conditions
• Professionalism: Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and professional attitude
• Dependability: Meet attendance requirements
• Responsibility: Be responsible for the bell, apron, and kettle equipment provided
• Communication: Ability to communicate with the public and follow instructions with limited supervision
