We are hiring for the following roles:

• Front of House: Barista, Counter Server, Cashier, Busser, Food Runner
• Back of House : Lead Line Cook, Line Cook, Dishwasher

As a Barista at The Buttery, you’ll bring our beverage program to life with precision, creativity, and genuine hospitality. From beautifully crafted espresso drinks to thoughtfully prepared teas, you’ll share your knowledge in a way that makes every guest feel welcomed and cared for.

Overview

The Barista is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team member who brings The Buttery’s beverage program to life- mastering our coffee, tea, and retail offerings while warmly sharing that knowledge with both guests and fellow staff. As a proud ambassador of The Buttery, this person collaborates closely with the Lead Barista to create a welcoming, high-quality customer experience and help foster a supportive, positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages to The Buttery’s standards while providing efficient, friendly service to every guest.

• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a clean, organized bar area and restocking supplies and retail displays as needed.

• Uphold health, safety, and quality standards in collaboration with the Lead Barista, ensuring consistency in beverage execution.

• Contribute to a positive team culture by fostering respect, communication, and collaboration across the front-of-house team.

• Continue learning and growing through product education and by helping train new team members on service, culture, and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in high-volume coffee preferred, but we’re open to training the right candidate with a great attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Background in customer service within food, beverage, or retail settings is a plus.

• Strong time management, communication, and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for hospitality and a team-first mindset, with a genuine love for great food, drink, and creating welcoming guest experiences.
