FTA Cross Dock Nights (York)

Position Overview

Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

• Earn $18 per hour

• 3rd Shift - Fulltime - 630pm start time until work is complete

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

• Location - 4875 N Susquehanna Trail

You will contribute by:

• Operate an electric riding pallet jack.

• Assist in unloading cross dock trailers.

• Ensure the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished.

• Load, unload, and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility.

• Monitor pallet construction and ensure load quality.

• Prioritize work within your assigned zone.

• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

• Continually standing, walking, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.

• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
