Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel RN job
• Healthcare Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) – Telemetry
• Location: Du Bois, Pennsylvania 15801
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910 - $1960
• Patient Ratios: Nights – 6:1
• Unit Beds: 36
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue or white

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of recent Telemetry RN or IMCU nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• Availability for every other weekend shifts
• Completion of PA fingerprinting and Childline process upon contract signing
• Lab work to be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Du Bois, PA
• First-time travel nurses welcome to apply

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a telemetry and intermediate care setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips (no titration), and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage central/PICC lines
• Provide care for patients with respiratory and cardiac diagnoses, including use of CPAP/BIPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and post-cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and more
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other hospital units as required to meet patient care needs
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and isolation precautions
