Overview:

Appliance Rebuilder Monday - Friday

If you’re mechanically inclined, love solving problems, and enjoy taking apart and putting together mechanical puzzles, this job is for you! As an Appliance Rebuilder at CSC, you’ll be responsible for performing basic maintenance, troubleshooting, tear down and complete rebuilds of our company-owned, rented, or leased appliances and equipment at our warehouse. You’ll keep our machines running smoothly, maintain organized inventory and stockroom areas, and ensure a clean and safe workspace. This is a hands-on role where variety, challenges, and problem-solving are part of your daily work.

• Perform thorough tear down and complete rebuild of appliances as assigned.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues; repair or replace defective components.

• Conduct routine maintenance, preventive upkeep, and safety inspections to ensure equipment reliability and performance at CSC facility.

• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.

• Organize and manage the stock room, ensuring tools, parts, and materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.

• Monitor inventory levels and promptly report low or missing items.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company standards.

What we’re looking for:

• A HS Diploma or equivalent; we'll provide the training.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Repair and maintenance experience or a motivated inner handyman.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of environmental conditions that are weather and non-weather related.

• Has strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and machinery.

• Can troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

• Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections.

• Reads and interprets technical manuals, schematics, or diagrams.

• Maintains accurate records of repairs, parts, and maintenance activities.

• Keeps the stockroom organized, with tools and materials properly labeled and accessible.

• Monitors inventory levels and reports low or missing items.

• Works safely, independently, and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail.

• Adapts easily to a variety of machines and tasks.

• Military experience is not required, but it is welcome and appreciated here.
