Normandy Farm Hotel & Blue Bell Country Club is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience
- Saturday & Sunday
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
Hotel Maintenance Service Technician Functions:
- Maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.
- HVAC experience a plus
- All Guest room repairs –entry doors, wallpaper, curtains, toilet sink and shower mechanisms, lights and any other repairs as warranted.
- Execute a PM (preventive maintenance) program.
- Maintain a record of all materials while maintaining a working inventory of parts and supplies.
- Availability during off hours for emergencies.
- Miscellaneous tasks assigned by department managers.
- Occasional extended hour or non-standard shifts required to cover special events and holidays. (No overnight shifts)
- Maintain presentable appearance and be able to interact with guests in a manner that is consistent with company standards
- Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct
- Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetings
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Proficiency in English required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Minimum of three (3) years of prior hotel experience, with an electrical and mechanical background
- Working knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems required
