Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by: Working?on the mechanical design and development of power distribution solutions which are used inside of data center applications.? Managing?new product development?including?design specifications, engineering analysis, preliminary sketches and designs, and coordinating support operations (such as fabrication engineering samples and testing).?? Collaborating?with cross-functional teams? In this role you'll: Support various stages of the new product development cycle,?from the?initial?concept generation to implementation in TE manufacturing facilities.?? Problem?solve, learn and/or improve 3D CAD and analysis tools.? Support ongoing innovation projects?by contributing and developing your own ideas with the support of a team.?? Use of?state-of-the-art?equipment for quick prototyping and testing.?? Design, analyze, and test new concepts and technologies.?? What Your Background Should Look Like You're the kind of person we are looking for if you:- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a ?BA/BS or MA/MS? Degree in ?Mechanical Engineering?, ?Industrial Engineering? or ?Electrical & Computer Engineering? or related from an accredited college or university-or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
- Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.
Basic experience with 3D design application tools required. Creo preferred, but candidates with Catia, UG NX or Solidworks experience will also be considered.
