Working?on the mechanical design and development of power distribution solutions which are used inside of data center applications.?

Managing?new product development?including?design specifications, engineering analysis, preliminary sketches and designs, and coordinating support operations (such as fabrication engineering samples and testing).??

Collaborating?with cross-functional teams?

Responsibilities

Support various stages of the new product development cycle,?from the?initial?concept generation to implementation in TE manufacturing facilities.??

Problem?solve, learn and/or improve 3D CAD and analysis tools.?

Support ongoing innovation projects?by contributing and developing your own ideas with the support of a team.??

Use of?state-of-the-art?equipment for quick prototyping and testing.??

Design, analyze, and test new concepts and technologies.??

What Your Background Should Look Like

You're the kind of person we are looking for if you:

• Have earned a high school diploma or GED
• Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a ?BA/BS or MA/MS? Degree in ?Mechanical Engineering?, ?Industrial Engineering? or ?Electrical & Computer Engineering? or related from an accredited college or university-or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered).
• Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project
• Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Basic experience with 3D design application tools required. Creo preferred, but candidates with Catia, UG NX or Solidworks experience will also be considered.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $27.42- $36.22 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Timeline

TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you have applied to a position, your resume and application will be reviewed. If you are selected to move to the next step in the application process, you will be contacted by a recruiter. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
