• Patient Volume/Census: Emergency department cases
• Case Mix: Mix of adult and pediatric emergency cases

• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: Standard emergency department equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: APP/Mid-level support
• Support Staff Available: Physicians and APP team model
• Reason for Coverage: Turnover Vacancy

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE:

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• Emergency medical procedures as required in ER settings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Pennsylvania medical license (will consider candidates needing to obtain license)
• Board: ABEM Board Certified
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (for BE candidates)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in emergency medicine
• Other Qualifications: Ability to work all shifts (days, nights, weekends)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Work collaboratively with APPs and other emergency department staff.
• Manage acute transfers from regional hospitals.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all cases in Epic EMR.
• Deliver care in accordance with hospital protocols and best practices.
