WSP USA is seeking a **Mobility Consultant** for any of the following offices: **New York; NY, Boston; MA, Philadelphia; PA, San Francisco + Los Angeles; CA.**
Your Impact
+ Assist with the planning, design, and implementation of mobility solutions or emerging transportation technologies including but not limited to alternative-fuels, connected and automated vehicles.
+ Under general supervision, assist with collecting, identifying, and compiling observational, spatial, or operations data from multiple matrices for projects, research, and surveys.
+ Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements, demographics, patterns and trends, statistical analysis, and reporting.
+ Assist with performing professional transportation planning work to gain further information on a particular problem or issue, verify site characteristics, and/or to assist with planning for future needs affecting sustainable transportation, equitable development, mobility planning, and multimodal access.
+ Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, accurate reports, models, infographics, and 3D illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, findings, or analyses.
+ Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation of technical memos, meeting minutes, transmittals, presentations, and other written materials.
+ Utilize the latest technologies and techniques in performing studies and analysis of project areas, sites, and any associated physical, urban, economic, population, community, and political sensitivities.
+ Complete training on assigned tasks.
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
+ Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering, Urban Planning or a related field.
+ 3-5 Years+ Experience in a similar role.
+ Demonstrated familiarity with shared mobility, alternative-fuel technologies, connected and automated vehicles (coursework, capstone, research, or professional experience).
+ Analytical skills, and familiarity with research techniques, local/regional geography, transportation networks, systems, and modalities.
+ Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
+ Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
+ Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.
+ Familiarity with discipline-specific software (i.e., Python, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite).
+ Basic proficiency with business writing, office automation and communication software, technology, and tools.
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
+ Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
+ Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master's Degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering, Urban Planning or a related field.
+ Prior full-time experience related to the degree of study and the specific discipline.
+ A member of and/or actively participates in local professional practice organizations.

**Compensation:**
Expected Salary (all locations): $85,000-$110,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
