What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in the development of AI/LLM features to solve engineering problems and enable natural language interaction with the Ansys Mechanical application.
- Engage with a network of expert professionals to collaborate and accomplish development objectives.
- Investigate defects in production code to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Develop unit tests for the developed features to maintain robust engineering standards.
- Analyze results and improve the usability of the software, enhancing user experience for next-generation products.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing a degree program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLM)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
- Excellent analytical and algorithmic thinking skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SVN/GIT, Github, and familiarity with C++, C#, Go, Rust, or Java. Background in Machine Learning with LLM concepts such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Natural Language Processing, and Graph algorithms is a plus.
