How you'll make an impact

Primary responsibility of a Senior Consultant is to get things right for the client with primary focus on managing external workflow to the client, keeping client’s expectations managed, and ensure all quality control measures have been followed.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Maintains significant contact with clients of all sizes via email, over the phone, and in client meetings.
  • Training and mentoring associates and consultants.
  • Provides leadership and training to associate, senior associate, and consultant level actuaries and is generally responsible for the operation of the client team.
  • Supervises all phases of actuarial valuations or special projects and provides lead actuary with up-to-date information on the status of all projects.
  • Helps identify and formulate service opportunities to clients, both within their line of business and opportunities from other lines.
  • Regularly looks for ways to optimize efficiency by improving procedures and practices.
  • Keeps abreast of latest trends and development in the actuarial field.
About You

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related majors with 5 to 8 years of working experience in actuarial field. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and technical actuarial skills.

Preferred: ASA preferred, but not required

Behaviors: Works well as part of a team and communicates well with both junior and senior members of the team.
