ROLE DESCRIPTION

AGG is adding a Data Architect to the team on a contract basis to support the delivery of a strategic data program. This role will focus on designing scalable architecture solutions using Databricks, STAR schema, and data vault modeling, while partnering with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into actionable data solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in designing and implementing data architecture solutions that support data program delivery.
• Utilize Databricks for data processing and analytics, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain data models using techniques such as STAR schema and data vault to facilitate efficient data retrieval and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions that meet business needs.
• Work with the program architect to ensure effective planning and capacity management.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-8 yrs+ proven experience in data architecture and data modeling techniques, including STAR schema and data vault.
• Proficiency in Databricks and experience with big data technologies.
• Strong understanding of data management frameworks and best practices.
• Background in consulting with a focus on delivering data programs and solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work 75% remote/25% travel

OTHER Must have no other full-time commitments, ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
