Production Intern

Almac Group is currently seeking a for our Production Intern location. This role will provide support to the Production and Warehouse functions at the Audubon site in support of commercial packaging operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support Production management in the identification and and defining of process improvement initiatives including data gathering and analysis, implementation and long term corrective measures to increase productivity for existing processes. Support Production management in implementation of product launches to support new business.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications & Position Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Education:

Currently enrolled in a Science or Engineering program at a 4 year college or university.

Preferred experience:

Experience in a professional working environment. Course-work, projects, or experience that demonstrate a high attention to detail and ability to comply with written requirements Course-work, projects, or experience that demonstrate the ability to creatively problem-solve and implement those solutions

Min. Req.

Scrub shirt/pant, hairnet, dedicated shoe wear, gloves when required per SOP or packaging instructions, facial cover when required per SOP, eye protection when required per SOP or packaging instructions, sleeve covers when required per SOP

Max. Req.

Same as above plus 1-piece coverall, goggles, respirator, disposable gloves

Additional

Cold clothing, staff required to work in 2-8C conditions periodically

Note:

No jewelry, make-up, or nail polish is permitted in production. Must meet all these requirements Can potentially make temporary (max 12 weeks) accommodation in secondary only for casts, etc. on legs or feet or for cane/crutch use. Must be able to wear gloves
