Structural Steel Welder

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Welder to join our team for the 2nd shift. This role involves welding structural steel, with minimal fabrication duties required initially. The position offers opportunities for overtime on the front end of the shift.

Pay - $27-32/hr

Hours - 3pm - 12am

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations adhering to FCAW standards
• Operate equipment such as metal cutting saws, torches, plasmas, drills, weld gauges, material handling equipment, and grinders.
• Set up welding machines for various job requirements and read welding symbols on plans and drawings.
• Grind and perform various joint preparations, sequencing welds to prevent material distortion.

Essential Skills

• 5 or more years of experience in welding, preferably in structural steel.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and flux core welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Competence with measuring tools and understanding of welding symbols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
