DIETARY AIDE/ASST

The spacious campus borders Fairmount Park in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a Per Diem Dietary Aide to join our team.

The Dietary Aide prepares food and dessert items and serves meals to patients, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs. The Dietary Aide maintains assigned areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer food service experience preferably in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting.
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Prefer knowledge of basic math, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety, and infection control practices.
