Property Manager

We are an Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, condominium seeking a full-time property manager with the highest levels of self-initiative, attention to detail, and patience to oversee daily operations. Our building has 250 residential units that includes a commercial corridor. The manager serves as the primary liaison between the council, homeowners, vendors, and staff, overseeing special projects, ensuring our community’s daily maintenance, fiscal integrity, and harmony.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 4 years of property management experience

CMCA or AMS certification

PCAM certification and a college degree are a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Experience with property management portal software

Ability to multitask, manage, and execute priorities

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

CORE SKILL SETS INCLUDE:

Leadership: reports to and advises our council; prepares meeting agendas and packages; participates in after-hours council meetings; supervises and trains staff, including front desk, maintenance, and cleaning crews; addresses emergency situations; onboards new owners.

Legal and Governing Document Management: interprets and enforces Pennsylvania and local condominium laws and building governing documents, and issues and tracks violations.

Fiscal Management: manages complex reserve studies and capital improvement projects; oversees banking and payroll; prepares monthly operating budget; prepares resale packages.

Vendor Procurement and Management: obtains RFPs and supervises third-party contractors and crews.

Community Management and Diplomacy: resolves resident concerns and requests with respect and kindness; conducts annual walkthroughs.
