Job Title: Warehouse Operator - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join our team on the 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities currently extending the shift to 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Our agriscience company is focused on agriculture excellence and innovation, and we need skilled operators to contribute to our production and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to stack bags of agricultural seed.
• Stack products 2-3 bags high, resembling large bags of rice or grass seeds.
• Apply general knowledge of production policies and procedures to support production activities.
• Lift and throw seed bags, label products, and assist with bagging when not using the forklift.
• Consistently lift 50+ lbs as part of repetitive work tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in operating a forklift, particularly sit-down models.
• Background in production environments.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse distribution, shipping, and receiving.
• Skill in picking orders.

Work Environment

The warehouse is very clean and organized, providing an optimal working environment. Temperatures tend to be in the 45-50s during winter months and can get warmer during summer. The dress code requires a T-Shirt, Jeans, and steel-toe footwear, with no exceptions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
