Director of Purchasing – Specialty Food Distribution
Philadelphia, PA | Full-Time | Onsite | no third parties
We’re a family-owned food distributor serving local restaurants since the early 1900s, and we’re growing! We’re looking for a Director of Purchasing to lead vendor negotiations, optimize purchasing operations, and manage a high-performing team.
What You’ll Do:
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms
Build strong vendor relationships & identify cost-saving opportunities
Oversee purchasing operations, data management & market analysis
Lead, train & develop the Purchasing Team
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of food & beverage purchasing experience
- 2-3+ years in a Director role (food industry preferred)
- Strong negotiation, organization & multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
