Vernick Food & Drink is seeking to expand our Host Team. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment, be eager to learn, and possess a desire to provide genuine hospitality to our guests. Candidates must be reliable, outgoing, organized, and should thrive in a team environment. Must be able to multi-task under pressure and communicate well.
The ideal candidate is:
- Professional, responsible, and punctual
- Able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Articulate & able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- Eager to learn and receptive to instruction and feedback

In 2016, Chef/Owner Gregory Vernick was named “Chef of the Year” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Vernick Food & Drink earned a 4-Bell re-review from restaurant critic Craig Laban who called it the “Best Overall Restaurant” in the city. Chef Vernick received the 2017 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic, elevating the restaurant onto a National level. Vernick Coffee Bar opened in the Comcast Technology Center in 2018 and next month, Vernick Fish will open at the new Four Seasons Hotel.
