Dietary Director

This position oversees all areas of the kitchen in a long-term care facility. Candidates should have a desire to work with the elderly and possess a pleasant and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the dietary department, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards in long-term care settings.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and nutritional needs.
- Supervise staff, providing leadership and training in dietary management and health coaching.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently while maintaining high-quality nutrition services.
- Evaluate and adjust dietary programs, including tube feeding protocols, to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in dietary departments within long-term care settings
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietetics, and physiology
- Experience in health coaching and developing care plans
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Supervisory experience with a focus on leadership and team development
- Familiarity with patient assessment, tube feeding, and diagnostic evaluations
