Lawn & Landscape Crew Leader
Position Overview
Gerhart’s Landscaping is seeking a dependable, motivated Lawn & Landscape Crew Leader to oversee daily field operations and lead a small crew. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates well with team members and clients, and can confidently manage job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a lawn & landscape maintenance crew
Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and cleanups
Monitor quality control on all assigned properties
Communicate with production managers regarding job progress or issues
Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety
Operate trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment responsibly
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude on job sites
Qualifications
Prior experience in lawn & landscape maintenance required
Crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to lead by example and maintain crew productivity
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Ability to lift and perform physical work
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
