Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA

On-Site or Hybrid : Hybrid 2-3 days per week

An Addison Group client is looking for a Senior Accountant!

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support the monthly close in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain fixed assets, record depreciation, and manage intercompany transactions.
• Support treasury activities, including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and sales tax filings to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze financial results and provide monthly variance explanations.
• Contribute to internal and external financial reporting requirements.
• Provide backup support for AR/AP as needed.
• Partner with the Controller to maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting matters and support special projects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience working within a shared services environment preferred.
• Strong background in month-end close and financial consolidations.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or post-acquisition integrations is highly desirable.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, services, construction, or other project-based environments
