Magnolia Streamside Kitchen @ The Lodge is our newest indoor dining experience—an extension of our beloved outdoor Streamside Kitchen—featuring thoughtfully crafted, farm-to-table cuisine inspired by the forests, streams, and local farms of the Poconos.

We are building a passionate, creative culinary team and are looking for a Chef Assistant to grow with us.

Postion overview:

The Chef Assistant will work closely with our Head Chef to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and service execution. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced yet intentional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep, cooking, and plating during service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
• Support execution of menu items to Magnolia standards
• Help with inventory, ingredient prep, and kitchen setup/breakdown
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed
• Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver a high-quality dining experience
• Assist with special events, private dinners, and weddings as needed

Experience

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (but not required)
• Passion for cooking, hospitality, and learning
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Flexible availability (weekends required)
• Assist with special events, private dinners, and weddings as needed

Compensation & Schedule

• Part-time or Full-time positions available
