What You’ll Do

• Perform ASME Section III and Section XI analyses in a team setting to support fatigue aging management for nuclear power plants.
• Develop ASME design specifications and design reports; contribute to design and assembly drawings that guide manufacturing.
• Support suppliers through component manufacture and assembly, ensuring adherence to requirements and quality standards.
• Partner with cross-functional experts to advance design, qualification, fabrication, and installation activities for nuclear components.
• Deliver concise presentations on technical findings and project status to peers.

Where You’ll Work

This hybrid role is based at Westinghouse Headquarters in Cranberry, PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area). Expect to be on site 2 days per week. You will report to the Manager, Reactor Vessel and Containment Vessel Design & Analysis.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
• Proven technical writing ability for calculation notes and topical reports (authoring and verification).
• Comfort reading technical reports and collaborating on technical problem-solving.
• Actively working toward a professional engineering license.
• 1+ years’ experience with Ansys Workbench / APDL, MATLAB, and Mathcad.

Pay Transparency

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
