Manager, Accounting - Corporate Finance

• Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, the Manager, Accounting will lead and supervise all accounting activity related to the general ledger.

• This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our West Chester, PA office several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: NJ, PA, DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

• Processing journal entries, review of journal entries
• Performing account reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Preparing financial reports and supporting internal and external audits
• Assists with implementation and maintenance of SOX internal control certification requirements, in coordination with QVC Internal Audit and QVC Internal Controls teams
• Participate in and support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with auditors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies
• Preparing and/or reviewing SOX control workpapers
• Providing guidance, oversight and development of junior staff
• Managing workflow, deadlines, and departmental objectives
• Communicate and partner with individuals cross-functionally to work through projects, new contracts and company initiatives to determine proper accounting treatment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior supervisory experience required
• 7+ years of progressive experience partnering with executive members of a Finance/Accounting function.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and SOX audit
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.
