Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is currently seeking customer service-focused smiling face to join our Residential Living Dining Services Team !

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing individual who takes pride in a job well done. We will provide you with the training you need to be successful.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pmpm, every other weekend/holiday rotation

Compensation: $12.50/hr-$14.84/hr, dependent upon experience

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) :

• Helping to create and deliver a friendly and memorable dining experience for residents and guests.
• Learn and execute proper procedures for running the dish machine and follow all directions as assigned regarding the proper way to clean and sanitize the pots, pans, how to properly a ir-dry pots, pans, and utensils , correctly putting away all clean and air-dried glassware, tableware, pots, pans, and utensils .
• Provide assistance, as directed and assigned, in meal service such as: transporting food carts from kitchen to pantry and providing any additional meal items to dining rooms
• Maintains a clean environment, free from debris and dust, including cleaning and sanitizing tables counters, transport carts, dollies, and emptying trash and recycling items to appropriate receptacles.
• Tend to our General Store and Joyful Scoop Ice Cream Shop
• Assist with other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service or dishwashing preferred but not required

• Ability to follow proper sanitation, cleaning, and safety procedures

• Capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
