Salary: $50,000 + (based on education and experience)
Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavioral support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories for their lives.
We currently have an opening for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist.
JOB GOAL
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full circle of the accounts payable functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process invoice payments accurately, ensuring proper expense classification and allocation to appropriate departments, locations, and other trackable categories.
- Manage purchase order entries within the designated system, serving as the initial checkpoint for due diligence and accuracy.
- Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) email communications to ensure timely and effective responses to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with remittance procedures and support all other accounts payable functions as needed.
- Provide payroll support, including data entry, report generation, and preparing files for payroll-related data transfers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned the administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates in Accounting, preferred.
- Experience with the AP Process, preferred.
- Ability to complete work accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and leadership team, while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Positively represent and promote BHA services to outside organizations.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- Communicate effectively utilizing both written and oral communication.
- Basic computer literacy with Microsoft/Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Effectively utilize technology for communication and reporting needs.
