Managing Director - Advisory Services
A rapidly growing professional services and advisory organization is seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead the continued growth and expansion of a key industry-focused practice area.
This executive-level position is ideal for a highly accomplished accounting and advisory professional who combines deep technical expertise with a proven ability to develop client relationships, generate revenue, and build high-performing teams. The successful candidate will play a significant role in shaping the strategic direction of the practice while serving as a trusted advisor to clients across a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the strategic growth and development of a specialized advisory practice.
• Cultivate and maintain executive-level client relationships and identify opportunities for business expansion.
• Drive revenue growth through business development, networking, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on complex accounting, financial reporting, and business matters.
• Oversee client engagements and ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Mentor, coach, and develop professionals across multiple levels of the organization.
• Contribute to recruiting, talent development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive accounting, advisory, consulting, or professional services experience.
• Demonstrated success leading client engagements and managing executive-level relationships.
• Proven track record of business development, revenue generation, and practice growth.
• Strong leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience within a public accounting, consulting, advisory, or professional services environment strongly preferred.

• Exposure to complex accounting, transaction, or business advisory engagements.
