Under the direction of a Managing Director, the Senior Consultant will assist in managing the corporate functions of a group of mutual insurance companies owned by large law firms. Assist in managing performance and coordinating activities of all service providers, including Aon Insurance Managers, Aon Actuarial, Audit/Tax, claims, investment, and legal advisors, with the goal of minimizing directors' time related to oversight and management of legal entities. Ensure that monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc projects-and corresponding deliverables-are completed accurately and on time. Coordinate the Annual General Meetings in Vermont and Bermuda, including preparation, coordination, and distribution of meeting materials, A/V setup, and logistical management of all aspects of each event. Provide logistical support for the Board of Directors and all committees, including coordinating meetings, preparing and distributing meeting materials, keeping meeting minutes, and following up after meetings. 3-5 years of insurance, accounting or compliance experience in a technical/consulting role Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor, and control workflow and deadlines Strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well under pressure without compromising attention to detail Energetic, with a sense of urgency Positive and flexible "can-do" attitude Working knowledge of accounting preferred Professional designation preferred (CPCU, RPLU, CPA) Knowledge of commercial or captive insurance companies preferredEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.How we support our colleagues
