Technical product manager
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Technical Product Manager: HYBRID REMOTE - Mondays and Fridays Remote!
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Product Manager to drive the adoption and success of the Writer platform across the enterprise. As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs, ensuring that the Writer platform meets the evolving requirements of our internal teams and enhances productivity and efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of both product management and software development, as well as strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy to drive the adoption and usage of the Writer platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key business objectives and align the platform’s features and functionalities to support these goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to ensure the Writer platform remains competitive and innovative.
Product Development:
- Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog.
- Facilitate agile development processes as necessary, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Ensure that the Writer platform is implemented and integrated with scalability, security, and performance in mind.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users.
- Conduct regular meetings and workshops to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives to all relevant parties.
User Adoption:
- Develop and implement a user adoption plan to increase awareness and utilization of the Writer platform.
- Create training materials, documentation, and support resources to help users effectively leverage the platform.
- Monitor user engagement metrics and use insights to refine the adoption strategy.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze usage data and user feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize enhancements.
- Use metrics to measure the impact of new features and improvements on user productivity and satisfaction.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal business teams across the enterprise to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
- Manage dependencies and ensure that project timelines are met.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate the Writer platform to identify areas for optimization and innovation.
- Lead the effort to integrate user feedback and market research into product iterations.
- Stay current with technological advancements and incorporate them into the platform where appropriate.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business units.
- Experience with GenAI SaaS platforms, such as Writer or other GenAI creative content platforms.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, and modern web technologies.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to balance technical and business priorities to deliver high-quality products.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics to inform product decisions.
- Experience in creating and executing user adoption plans.

- Knowledge of financial services and investment management is a plus.
