Position Title: Manager of Retail Loan Adjustments Business Unit: Retail Lending Reports to: Chief Consumer Credit Officer Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for management of the collection and recovery activities for the retail loan portfolios including direct and indirect loans and lines, credit cards, bankruptcy activities and recovery efforts for those portfolios as well as the recovery activities on real estate secured credits. The incumbent manages a staff of professionals which may include other managers, clerical staff and loan adjustors. The incumbent has direct responsibility for delinquency and loss goals established by senior management. Primary Responsibilities: Manages the collection efforts on assigned portfolios to meet or exceed the goals established by management. Manages the recovery efforts through disposition of repossessed collateral or the disposition of properties acquired through foreclosures. Manages the reconcilement of General Ledger accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis. Manages the bankruptcy process within Loan Adjustments to protect the Bank's interest in bankruptcy related matters. Monitors the various collection queues to ensure timely follow-up of collection activities while ensuring adequate staffing is in place to handle the daily downloads of delinquent accounts. Manages collection queues for appropriate handling of collection calls and provides senior management with reporting on collection activities. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
