Director

PSB Industries, Inc., headquartered in Erie, PA, has a work-at-home Director of Global Purification position (with the ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems) responsible for designing and developing processes for the manufacturing of fabrication and purification products through the application of principles in chemical engineering, including solid adsorbents such as molecular sieves, activated alumina, catalysts, and activated carbons. The employee is ultimately responsible for winning purchase orders for packaged process equipment. Specific duties include: (i) working with customers to evaluate incoming requests for quotes (RFQs) and gathering all parameters, applicable specifications, and determining solutions; (ii) creating the key driver of cost estimates based on materials and labor as well as Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Drafting (SPED); (iii) creating commercial and technical proposals to present to customers, including process flow diagrams, process design summaries, scopes of supply basis, and major component descriptions; and (iv) researching new technologies for expanding PSB's overall product portfolio.

This is a fully remote position and the employee can work from anywhere in the United States.

Must have a master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Chemical Engineering.

Must have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) process simulation software, such as (but not limited to) Aspen HYSYS or PROMAX; (ii) thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mass transfer; and (iii) industry standards and regulations, such as (but not limited to) ASME, API, or ISO.

Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 40% to customer offices and job sites.
