Tax Manager- Professional Services

Newtown Square, PA | New York, NY | Woodcliff Lake, NJ | Stamford, CT

We're seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements for professional services clients. This is an opportunity to expand your advisory role, mentor a team, and work directly with clients on planning, compliance, and strategic tax matters.

Qualities:

• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Active CPA license required (MST, JD, or LLM is a plus).
• Strong experience with Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1065, and 1040.
• Expertise in tax research, planning, and technical consulting.
• Experience with M&A tax planning or due diligence is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in-office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilites:

• Manage and review tax compliance for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Research complex tax issues and provide planning strategies and practical recommendations.
• Partner with senior leadership on client engagements and advisory projects.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and assist with IRS and state tax matters.
• Mentor and develop staff while managing multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Build lasting client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
