Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative / Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, preferably with engineering experience, and the ability to bridge technical knowledge with customer-facing sales strategies. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and executing targeted campaigns to drive revenue.
Job Description
- Develop tender/proposal strategies and conduct headquarters review of key components.
- Determine disposition of tenders/proposals and address clarifications.
- Develop opportunity assessments and engagement plans.
- Identify, capture, and qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Plan cross-sell and upsell strategies, prioritizing opportunities for engagement.
- Prepare, negotiate, and manage sales quotes and their dispositions.
- Prepare contract amendments, suspensions, early terminations, and renewals.
- Investigate events and validate findings.
- Collect market activity and competitive intelligence, including units intelligence
- Serve as a bridge between the sales and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately addressed during the sales cycle
Skills Required
- Sales experience, preferably in an engineering or technical field.
- Strong ability to identify business opportunities and build client relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
Additional Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR compliance.
