Bartender

As a Bartender at Outta Boundz, you'll be responsible for crafting and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have a great experience. You're the face of our bar - quick, accurate, and friendly service is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and refuse service when required
• Maintain bar inventory: restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, and supplies as needed
• Keep the bar area clean and organized—wipe down surfaces, clean glassware, and empty trash regularly
• Handle cash, credit cards, and tabs accurately; balance cash drawer at shift end
• Follow all local and state alcohol-service regulations and company policies
• Engage with guests: answer questions about drinks, recommend specials, and upsell premium options when appropriate
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service and order accuracy
• Monitor guest consumption and intervene responsibly if a guest is over-served

Requirements

• Minimum age 18+ (in compliance with PA alcohol laws)
• Proven bartending experience or mixology training preferred
• RAMP certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Solid knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and basic bar operations
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to read guest's needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills—this is a fast-paced environment
• Reliable availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (kegs, boxes of liquor)
• Basic math skills for accurately handling payments and making change
