Assurance Senior Manager - Governmental

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Governmental Assurance practice, able to sit in a number of our offices. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services. What Work You Will be Responsible For:
- Collaborate to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy
- Lead multiple audit engagements and competing priorities
- Review and examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively
- Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
- Supervise, train and mentor staff during engaement
- Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field
- 7+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience
- Experience with governmental clients
- CPA
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field
- 3+ year of supervisory experience

Preferred Location: New York For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between 120000 and 200000 The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
