Responsibilities:

Required (Must-Haves):

• 5+ years of professional experience as a SQL Database Administrator (DBA). This is not an entry-level position.
• Deep expertise in T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Proven experience with SQL Server performance tuning, index maintenance, and execution plan analysis.
• Strong knowledge of backup/restore procedures, disaster recovery strategies, and security patch management.
• Hands-on experience with high-availability (HA) solutions such as Clustering, Replication, Always On Availability Groups, or Log Shipping.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience with ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Familiarity with reporting tools like SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of application integration, including building APIs and C# development in a .NET / .NET Core framework.
• Proficiency in managing SQL Server security, including roles, permissions, and data encryption.
